A red Cretan variety,
is the beloved food of Blackbird –in Greek “Kotsifos” –
after which it takes its name.
Light rose colour and complex and elegant aromas of small red berries, citrus and white flowers.
Its fruity and creamy flavor, the freshness as well as the
crispy acidity can be distincted in the mouth.
The aftertaste is long and persistent.
It is served at 9°C – 11°C and accompanies perfectly seafood,
cretan cuisine, pasta, meat with white sauce, spicy food and a
wide variety of cheese.
